I am willing to donate a hand burplapped goose decoy for the auction, and pay shipping to the winning bidder (or to irishpride to be consolidated, just advise)...
Up for Auction - a Herter's 92 suc bottom foam decoy. The decoy has been burlapped by me, and hand painted by me.
The decoy looks good as a decorative item on the mantle, or works wonderful as a working decoy. The suc bottom decoy makes good movement with any wind, and adds realism.
For anyone who has burlapped foam decoys before, the goose decoys require much more time than duck decoys, and about 3-4 times the material. A lot of time and effort is required to burlap decoys, and if you price factory burplapped decoys - they are pretty pricey. The decoys I burlap, are done right.... mastic under, mastic coated burlap, mastic over, trimmed, waterproof sealer, hand painted and clear coated with matte (a very time intensive process).

The head will move right or left...
