We pulled this out my girlfriends grandmothers attic. I'm taking it down to bare wood and removing the old dryrotted leather and canvas material. I'll go back with a tung oil finish and replace the leather. I'll post updated photos as this progresses.

Actually OT, I do. I'm not replacing the old leather straps on it but I need to replace the side handles. I found a couple of places on the web but if you've had dealings with someone in the past I'd love to do business with them. Do they have a website?

This is a link to their site. I'm not sure if you'll find it here, but they definitely have it in the store. One of the most amazing places I have ever been. We spent several days in the Ohio Amish country back in April of last year.
